Onawa Lake and Big Greenwood Pond are two pristine lakes close to Wildlife Lodge in Elliottsville Twp. Maine which is just off the Moosehead Trail between Guilford and Greenville.

Borestone Mountain towering over Onawa Lake, Big Greenwood Pond, Big Wilson Stream and Wildlife Lodge and gift shop.

The 100 Mile Wilderness starts in Monson Maine and ends at Mt Katahdin. It is a difficult journey for the Appalachian Trail Hikers ( ATC ). The Trailhead is just off the Moosehead Trail in Monson, Route.16.
